Hey there, I’m Glenn James—a songwriter, composer, and pianist who’s been crafting melodies and harmonies since I was ten years old. Whether I’m composing for a string quartet or experimenting with modular synths, I love creating music that resonates on a deep, emotional level.

I love blending the worlds of classical and popular music. After earning my DMA in composition at UBC, I’ve been writing, recording, and experimenting with sounds that combine the familiar with the unexpected.

When I’m not making music, I’m either hanging out with my beagles or diving into everything from Radiohead to Beethoven for inspiration. To me, music is all about connection—whether it’s through a lyric, a chord, or that perfect moment when everything just clicks.
